CHRIS CHICK #13 ANNAPOLIS AREA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Chris had a big game against Friends. He threw for 123 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 30-14 win.

AACS is now to 4-0 in Conference and 6-2 overall.
So far this season Chris has 929 passing yards and 9 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing.

KYLE MCGOVERN OF SEVERN

Check out #10. He is Kyle McGovern and through the first 7 games his stat line is 1,101 yards, 13 passing touchdowns and 2 rushing.

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.- Monmouth University quarterback Kyle Frazier (Gaithersburg, Md./Damascus) has been named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, league officials announced on Monday.

Arundel’s Billy Cosh broke the public school record for career touchdown passes with his seven TD game against Glen Burnie. Kent Island’s Joe Kirby rushed for 315 yards and Damascus’ Brian Lucas rushed for five touchdowns this week.

A year ago, quarterback Josh Bordner led Century to the state Class 2A semifinals and the first perfect regular season in Carroll County football in 30 years, passing for 2,217 yards and 18 touchdowns. This season has been a bit different for the senior, who saw most of his teammates graduate. On Friday night, however, Bordner, 17, was in on six touchdowns – three passing, two rushing and one on a blocked punt return – as the Knights earned their first victory of the season, 63-0, over Manchester Valley.

Now he’s looking forward to a career as a quarterback in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Bordner, readying for his senior year at Century, verbally committed to Boston College this week.

Braden Anderson has a career game for Langley High School.
He was 16 for 27 for 271 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
